A Trojan Horse is full of trickery as its name reflects. The Trojan horse, at first glance will appear to be a useful software but will actually damage the computer once it is installed. Users on the receiving end of a Trojan horse are usually tricked into opening them because they appear to be receiving useful software or files from a genuine source. When a Trojan is activated on a computer, the results can vary. Sometimes they add silly icons on the desktop or cause damage by deleting files and destroying information on the system.
