IT TERMS:- 1) Each website has a main page. when you visit any site the first page that opens up and provides links for other pages is called Home Page.
2) A Bar Code is a computer readable representation of information in a visual format.
3) A Bar Code Reader is a computer peripheral for reading bar codes on various products.
4) In software development, a product or a technology " Beta Release" means it is still in development but is released in the market for testing and evaluation purpose.
5)An Internet servie provider (ISP) is a company that givves us access to the internet for a fee. The browser will not be able to display web pages unless the computer is connected to an ISP.
6)Hibernation is a state in which a computer shuts down to save power but first saves everything in memory on your hard disk. When you restart the computer, your desktop is restored exactly as you left it.
7)Standby is a state in which our moniter and hard disks are turned off, so that your computer uses less power. When you want to use the computer again, it comes out of standby quickly.
8)POP-UPS are extra browser windows of commercials that open automatically on browsing web pages.
9)MP3 stands for MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3. It is a format to store audio data in a compressed form.
10)wrong input leads to wrong Output. It is called GIGO-Garbage In Garbage Out.
11) Android OS is a Linux based OS designed primarily for touch screen mobile devices such as smart phones and Tablet computers initially developed by android Inc. whom google financially backed and later purchased.

13) wireless is a method of communication that uses low powered radio waves to transmit data between devices. Wireless Access point (WAP) is a device that connects wireless communication devices to form a wireless network.
14)Wi-Fi stands for wireless Fidelity. It represents wireless local area networks. It was developed for mobile computer devices like laptops but is now used for more services like internet.
