Microsoft launched its first version in 1995. Internet explorer has been widely used since 1999. Since its first release many versions with additional features were released by microsoft. Internet based research shows that 70% of people browsing the web use IE, because of its easy interface, improved features and easy to download upgrades which are available from Microsoft websites.
